Dr. Joe Ligon became Senior Pastor of FBC Marlow in July of 1999. Before that he had served in a variety of bi-vocational positions while working in public education. He earned a Doctor of Educational Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Joe and his wife Gayla have two sons, Andrew, a student at OU, and Aaron, a student at MHS. Pastor Jason Arnold serves as Associate Pastor and Administrator. He earned his Master of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Administration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before accepting the call to full-time vocational ministry Jason was in the insurance, banking and finance industry. He and his wife Kim have a son named Nolan. Pastor Ron Maxfield became LIFE Pastor (LIFE Center Administrator, Education and Outreach Minister) at FBC Marlow in July of 2006. Before that he served in several Baptist Churches in the areas of Youth, Music and Education. For 10 years Ron worked as a Christian Counselor in inpatient and outpatient settings. Ron and his wife Carole have two boys. Ron's family enjoys traveling and hanging out together. Ron’s hobbies are music, building scale miniatures, and hometown history. Student Pastor Jeremy Witt came to FBC Marlow in February of 2008. He and his wife Terra have two kids. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, and a Bachelors degree in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Terra has earned a Missiology degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremy loves sports, photography, games, and of course eating-hint. Children's Minister Tara Thompson came to FBC Marlow in November of 2010. She and her husband Justin have one son and another on the way. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Education from East Central University and is pursuing a Master Degree with an emphasis in Church Leadership.
